  • FSA/DCA (Calendar Year): You will now have the opportunity to enroll through WEX. This change aims to streamline and enhance your FSA experience.
    – Flexible Spending and Dependent Day Care Accounts must be re-elected yearly if you wish to continue coverage
    – DCA elections are only eligible for children under 13
    – The IRS regulations do not allow FSA dollars to be transferred from the DCA to the Medical FSA

  • Voluntary Vision Plan: The VBA plan provides you with comprehensive vision coverage to cater to your eye care needs effectively.
  • Voluntary Accident Plan: The benefits described below are payable when an insured is treated for bodily injuries resulting from an accident for which benefits are payable. All benefits will be paid to the insured unless otherwise stated or when the insured has assigned benefits.
  • Voluntary Cancer Plan: This program pays cash benefits for the diagnosis and treatment of cancer and cancer-related expenses. This plan pays for both medical and non-medically related costs, over and above the coverage provided by your major medical policy. The program has over 30 specific benefits such as chemotherapy, radiation, experimental treatments, travel, hospitalization, and surgeries.
  • Voluntary Critical Illness: Pays you a benefit to cover expenses associated with a covered critical illness. The benefit amount is elected by the employee at enrollment. The initial diagnosis benefit in each category pays a percentage of the benefit amount. If applicable, the recurrent diagnosis benefit pays a percentage of the initial diagnosis benefit. Benefits are subject to limitations and exclusions.
  • Voluntary Hospital Indemnity: Pays employees a cash benefit to help cover costs associated with a hospital stay. The plan is a voluntary policy intended to supplement the major medical insurance in your benefits package.
  • Voluntary Educator Disability Insurance: Combines the features of a short-term and long-term disability plan into one policy. The coverage pays you a portion of your earnings if you cannot work because of a disabling illness or injury.

    Transamerica coverage has a different effective date than all other coverage.
    a. Accident, Critical Illness, Hospital Indemnity, Cancer Plan, and 10/20-year Term Life Plans are effective the 1st of the month following their date of hire.
    b. Universal Life is the 1st of the month following 30 days.
